Conflow Power Group signs a major agreement for iLamps in the United States

Conflow Power Group confirms an exclusive technology agreement with S2A Modular for its flagship product, iLamp in the United States.

Conflow Power is pleased to confirm details of an exclusive technology agreement signed today with S2A Modular to provide an iLamp for every home S2A builds from its massive pipeline.

S2A Modular is a leading US-based modular home builder with many firsts in its industry. They designed and built the first custom electrically self-contained luxury homes that are sleek, have fast construction times, and use the best materials. Featuring Net Zero life and smart connected technology, they pair perfectly with iLamp, enhancing S2A Modular’s suite of building products.

S2A builds communities, not just unique homes, for example, their strategic partner is where residents can experience the ultimate 55+ community living environment for active adults. Each Bahia Village community will feature detached 1 and 2 bedroom homes and multiple amenities including a private clubhouse, picnic areas with barbecue grills, swimming pool, spa and more. S2A has four MegaFactories in the works, with the first live now, two more under construction, and a fourth under construction soon. Their huge push on MegaFactories is to meet the huge demand they have for homes with over 300,000 units in the pipeline and only the capacity to meet 10% of that demand over the next three years.

These are similar circumstances for iLamp, where demand far exceeds supply, so both organizations remain focused on scaling their businesses to meet demand.

Conflow Power has been working with S2A Modular for over a year to ensure that the agreement we have formally reached is perfect and beneficial for both parties. This agreement emphasizes the core product that we both sell, namely a lifestyle, consisting of new smart homes built with improved materials, technologies and services that are both efficient and cost-effective, sustainable and environmentally friendly. Conflow adds many components to this lifestyle choice by improving energy efficiency, communications and security through the range of integrated features included in the iLamp.

The agreement calls for mutual contribution to advance the current product base, blending technology, intellectual property and ideas to create new and better versions for the target market S2A addresses. This is a large-scale distribution agreement that includes the merging of technology, advancement and R&D into new products that will be jointly designed. This will first focus on the DC-only version of the iLamp, then move on to new solar materials and efficiency in power generation, delivery and storage.

John Rowland, President and Co-Founder of S2A Modular, said: “I have worked closely with the iLamp team for many months to fine-tune this agreement so that we can be sure we are getting it right and that our interests are fully aligned. Our whole team is very happy to have iLamps in all our factories so that we can present them in several places. It goes without saying that we both pursue only the best in technological advancements as we work on our DC-only iLamp and co-develop alternatives for the US market to be sold exclusively through us.

He added, “Bringing autonomous power, security and communications via the iLamp to our developments can only help our customers and further set us apart from the competition.

The exclusive portions of the agreement remain in effect for five years and are renewable thereafter, making this agreement a long-term plan for both parties. The only street lighting offered by S2A will be provided by iLamp and the DC version will only be available through S2A Modular. These will be designed to create DC microgrids in S2A developments, taking another revolutionary leap into the future of power and power distribution on a localized basis.

Edward Fitzpatrick, CEO of Conflow Power, said, “It’s like one big family that likes all the same things. We thrive on efficiency, just like the S2A team, we demand both the latest and greatest technology and aggregate its use for the benefit of our customers because it also benefits us. It’s so refreshing to find the same strong values at S2A Modular. We are perfectly suited, both culturally, technically and ambitiously.
